Here the project work by Tiago Filipe Lemos Santos, a student from University of Beira Interior (Covilhã- PT).

Abstract

The objective of this work is to document the strategy chosen in the search to dynamize a street in Covilhã, an exercise proposed by the teachers of the discipline Drawing II. This exercise involves searching and choosing a street in Covilhã, investigating, and outlining the best solutions to make that street more dynamic.

In the development of the street revitalization project, it was necessary to take into account all the people that the project could and should affect, as well as the influence that it could have on the local economy.

X-Street is the name of the project developed, it’s a Video-Mapping projection that seeks to give color and a new life to these dark and abandoned streets of Covilhã.
